November Shows Round Up.
Our busy demo programme has seen our team recently visit Shropshire, Staffordshire, Herefordshire, Cheshire, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Kent. During this busy period, we also found time to exhibit at Croptec 2021 in Peterborough and BP2021 – the potato industry event in Harrogate.
With both events taking place over the same two days, Team Bateman were present in force and both Jason and Aideen Bateman spent one day on the stand at each show. Our latest RB35 model was available for inspection at both shows with Croptec offering the added attraction of a test drive in our 2021 RB35 demonstrator in the arena.
For the first time at BP2021 our stand was indoors. Those of you who have attended this show before will appreciate just how welcome an indoor pitch was in November. It was lovely to speak to our potato customers who travelled from all points of the UK and to speak to new potential customers, who have already requested on-farm demos for 2022.
Across both shows there was much interest in our latest Bateman Boom Levelling (BBL) and really positive feedback from customers who are using this technology. Our new E-Drive transmission is also receiving rave reviews from operators across the UK. It was also great to hear customers compare the reliability and cost of ownership of our sprayers in extremely favourable terms compared to other brands.
We also managed to create a new media star as our very own Ryan Dooley was interviewed for BBC Radio 4’s ‘Farming Live Show’ at Croptec. You can listen online by clicking here.
