Five minutes with Paul Herniman

My role at Bateman is:

Product leader – Cab/Electrical bay.

A typical day for me at Bateman involves:

Working alongside management and foreman, overseeing the production of the cab and wiring systems. Making sure they are all installed and operating to a very high standard.

The most enjoyable aspect of my current role is:

Passing on my 20 years of knowledge, working with a great team and seeing the machines going up the road to be delivered.

I would say life at Bateman is:

Demanding and hectic but very enjoyable.

Before I joined Bateman I was:

I joined Bateman straight from school.

If I have time to myself I enjoy:

Spending time with my boy, racing motorbikes and following most sports.

The best advice I have ever been given is:

Life is no dress rehearsal.
