Approved by Bateman: CT Scott Ltd

There are a number of Bateman approved partners who sell and support our sprayers. Over the next few months, we’ll be putting them under the spotlight. This time it’s the turn of Craig Scott from CT Scott Ltd.

Where are you based and what does your business do?
We are precision farming and application specialists. Our Head Office is near Insch, Aberdeenshire with a second yard near Forfar, Angus.

What area do you cover?
Predominantly we cover the whole of Scotland. We make the occasional trip south of the border for a large contracting customer.

How did it begin with Bateman?
One sunny Sunday morning I had a customer with a problem on his RB35. Jason Bateman answered the phone, talked me through each step and we got the customer running. We later had further phone calls and it developed from there.

What services do you offer to Bateman customers?
The full package – sales, service and parts. We pride ourselves on providing the very same high standards of aftersales support that Bateman offer.

What do your customers like about owning a Bateman?
Residual value, cost of ownership and comfort. Another big bonus is they are British made. Because parts are made in-house, they are readily available and rarely obsolete. This is true of machines even older than me!

What do you like about working with the team at Bateman?
We have a fantastic working relationship with Bateman. The guys in the office, production and sales will always help you out, even on a Sunday afternoon. This ensures high aftersales standards.

In your opinion what sets Bateman apart from other sprayers?
The desire from a family owned and run company to manufacture a machine that achieves high work rates. Also, backing that machine up with the highest level of service. This combination is a winning recipe.

Is there anything particular that you would like to mention?
We would like to say a big thank you for the opportunity to build our business with the Bateman product. We are excited for what the future brings.
